Get Involved: Help Make the Meet Happen

Calne Bike Meet is a non-profit event run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers known as The Friends of Calne Bike Meet. We don’t receive central funding—the event lives and breathes because of the people who participate. Whether you want to showcase your club, grow your business, or give a few hours of your time, there is a place for you here.

🎪 Trade & Community Stalls

With over 70 pitches across the town, our stalls are a major draw for visitors. We welcome motorcycle traders, local artisans, and food vendors.

• How to Join: We offer competitive rates starting from £90 for a 3m x 3m pitch, with significant discounts available for registered charities and local community groups.
• Requirements: You’ll need Public Liability Insurance and, for food vendors, a hygiene rating of 4 or 5.

🏍️ Motorcycle Clubs

Is your club looking for a summer rendezvous? We love hosting owners’ clubs, from vintage British bikes to modern custom groups.

• Club Stands: We have dedicated areas like the Lower Sainsbury’s Car Park and The Green specifically for club displays. It’s a fantastic way to recruit new members and chat with fellow enthusiasts.

🛡️ Be a Marshal on the Day

The “organized chaos” of the meet is kept safe and moving by our army of marshals. You don’t need to be a biker to help—just a friendly face and a high-vis vest!

• What’s involved: Helping with bike parking, guiding pedestrians, and assisting with the grand ride-out at 4:45 PM.
• Time Commitment: You can volunteer for a morning shift, an afternoon shift, or the full day. We provide a full briefing before you start.

🤝 Join the Committee

If you want to have a direct hand in shaping the future of the meet, consider joining our organizing committee. We meet once a month throughout the year to plan everything from road closures to live music line-ups.

• Who we need: We are always looking for fresh perspectives, especially in areas like social media, logistics, and sponsorship.
• Attend our AGM: Our Annual General Meeting is open to the public. It’s a great place to see how we distributed last year’s donations and how you can fit in.
