Calne Bike Meet is one of the largest free motorcycle events in Europe. For one day every summer, our historic Wiltshire town is transformed into a buzzing hub of chrome, leather, and community spirit. Whether you’re a lifelong rider or just looking for a great family day out, here is what you can look forward to:

🕒 The Main Event Itinerary

  • 08:00 AM | The Arrival: The first bikes begin to roll into town. Arrive early to secure your spot or to watch the streets fill with every variation of two-wheeled machinery imaginable.
  • 10:00 AM | Live Music Kicks Off: The main stage in Church Street roars to life. We feature a line-up of incredible local bands playing throughout the day until 5:30 PM.
  • 04:45 PM | The Big Ride-Out: The highlight of the day. Hundreds of bikes assemble at the Tesco Superstore and prepare to ride through the town in a spectacular parade.
  • 05:00 PM | The Parade: Cheers from the crowds as the ride-out passes through the heart of the town centre.
  • 06:00 PM | Close of Event: While the official street event ends and roads begin to reopen, many local pubs and venues continue the festivities well into the evening.

🎸 Live Entertainment & Atmosphere

Music is the heartbeat of the meet. From rock classics to modern sets, our live music stages provide the perfect soundtrack as you wander through the thousands of parked bikes. Expect a “masterclass in organized chaos” where the atmosphere is inclusive, friendly, and loud!

🍔 Food, Drink & Shopping

  • The Food Court: We host a massive variety of vendors. From the Calne Lions Burger Van and The Bratman’s German Sausages to Mexican Street Food, Greek Pitaria, and Smokingly Good BBQ, there is something for every appetite.
  • Trade Stalls: Browse over 70 stalls including motorcycle gear, artisan crafts, and community displays. Whether you need a new leather jacket or a handmade gift from the Wiltshire Chilli Farm, you’ll find it here.
  • Merchandise: Visit the official CBM stall to pick up your 2026 Event Patch, Enamel pins, or limited-edition t-shirts. All proceeds go toward keeping the event free for everyone.

🛡️ Community & Charity

The meet is run entirely by volunteers (The Friends of Calne Bike Meet). Many of our stalls represent local charities and community groups. While the event is free to attend, we encourage visitors to support these local causes and our amazing traders who make the day possible.

📍 Important Info for Visitors

  • Parking: Follow the signs and marshal instructions as you enter town.
  • Road Closures: Please note that High Street, and Church Street are closed to through traffic for the duration of the event.
  • Stay Safe: All trade items (like helmets or armor) sold on-site are CE marked for safety. Please respect the marshals’ instructions to ensure a safe day for everyone.
