Will the buses be working? Are the buses diverted?

Due to the road closure, the buses will be running but they may not stop in the town centre. The bus companies are advised about our event and we advise you to check with local bus companies on any changes they make to routes and stops.

  • Service 55 – The Calne Bike Meet event is taking place on the above date. Service 55 will divert via North Street and the A3102 by pass road in both directions. The following bus stops will not be in use on this day: Post Office, Bank House, Town Hall, Coopers Cars, St Marys School and The Springfield Academy. Please use the bus stops at the Pippin along Oxford Road for Chippenham and Swindon.

  • Due to the annual bike show in Calne on Saturday 26th of July 2025, Service 42 will divert via Curzon Street, School Road, Lickhill and normal route from Oxford Road. The diversion is in both directions.
