Our charities

Our 2025 charities are:

Bliss exists to give every baby born premature or sick in the UK the best chance of survival and quality of life. They champion the right for every baby born premature or sick to receive the best care by supporting families, campaigning for change and supporting professionals, and enabling life-changing research.

The DocBike charity sends highly trained medical professionals on motorbikes to motorcycle collisions with the aim to reduce deaths and serious injuries on our roads. It is part of their everyday job, to treat and save the most severely injured and sick patients and help them to reach the hospital alive. A lot of the DocBike charity’s time is therefore, also invested in preventing motorcyclists from being in a collision in the first place.

Calne Food Bank offers short-term help to all who are facing difficulties. The main goal is to provide a food parcel that contains enough items to sustain an individual, a couple or a family for three days. By doing this, they hope to take away the short-term worry and stress of  having food, allowing people to focus on resolving their problems with the help of other agencies. Calne Foodbank is an independent charity relying on grants and the goodwill of the community for support.

A great example of just how much good the Calne Bike Meet can do; the 2024 event generated over £10,000 for our chosen charities:

Representatives from these charities (and Unity Support Riders, who volunteer to make sure our Ride Out is safe) joined us at our cheque presentation evening and gave a great insight into how these donations will be used.
