Calne Bike Meet hosts more than seventy stalls including food outlets, trade stalls and charity and community organisations.
How to book
We have an online form for booking your stall. When you’ve completed and submitted the form, the stalls coordinator will review your request and either contact you for further details or send an invoice for the appropriate fee. Fees vary depending on the type, size and location of the stall, but start from £75 for a 3m x 3m stall. There are discounts for charity and community group stalls.
Terms and conditions
Stall holders need to supply copies of documents showing the stall complies with legal and safety requirements. All stalls will need to show they have Public Liability Insurance covering their stall.
Stalls must show that they operate safely. This includes but is not limited to having gas and electrical equipment inspection certificates and having risk assessments for their activities.
If you plan to offer safety equipment (e.g. armoured clothing, crash helmets etc…) all items must carry a CE mark showing approval for its usage. This is the full responsibility of the trader; representatives from local trading standards may, and are permitted to, inspect any/all stalls at the bike meet and effect enforcement of applicable regulations.
Food stalls must have a food hygiene rating of 4 or 5 (unless they are recorded as exempt). This must be visible on the FSA website at least six weeks before the event.
Stalls must follow instructions given by marshals and committee members on the day to make sure the event runs smoothly and safely.
Submitting the booking form does not guarantee availability of a stall space, a particular request or location.
Stalls must pay any stall fees by the date shown on the invoice (usually a month from the invoice date, but may be shorter if booked very close to the event) and in advance of the event. Spaces are not confirmed until the invoice is paid.
Stalls may cancel their booking for a full refund / invoice cancellation up to a month before the event. After this date, cancellations cannot normally be refunded.
